The small one, in Cordura, is ~6 3/4, with a ~3" blade; it's one-piece, probably Stainless, an' weighs ~3 3/4 ounces. What appears to be gold filling highlights deeply etched oak-leaf & acorn foliage, as well as the oval AGR logo, an' the horizontal copyright AGR 1977 line at the ricasso. It has a very few minor handling blemishes, but hasn't been sharpened since it left Arkansas. Near mint, I'll call it.
The lager one, in leather, is ~8", with a ~3 1/2" blade, probably Stainless, an' weighs ~5 1/4 ounces' it has a full heavy tang an' pommel with a horizontal lanyard hole (not pictured). The scales look like ivory Delrin, secured by 2 aluminum rivets. It shares with the small one all the etched an' gold-filled oak foliage, logo an' copyright text, in the same locations. About half of the foliage seems degraded by loss/discoloration of the gold fill, which seems to be the result of residual acid beneath the gold (but I'm only surmising, based on appearance). Again, factory edges, an' otherwise showing no blemish issues. Both sheaths are perfect.
I hope to learn from y'all how rare these are, an' perhaps how many of each were made. They aren't mine, an' the old friend who owns them is needful of lightening ship...so would like to know as much as possible about them before offering them for sale.
Thanks for all your comments an' suggestions, an' for lookin'! Warren
