Excuse the fuzzy pix.

Here's a 10/10 16.5inch, 26 ounce WWII model by old faithful, Kesar. This is a very good effort by Kesar but the bolster is a little loose (epoxy fix). Handle is solid as a rock. And, the scabbard is snug but I think it'll loosen up when it hits some humidity. Still dry as a bone here in Reno. But those two minor defects will save you fifty bucks. We'll deliver this very good rig by Kesar to your door for $75.

Call or email if interested.

And here's an 18 inch, 19 ounce Sirupati by the kami with no name that is excellently done. The only thing wrong with the entire rig is the scabbard is too tight. It may readjust when it hits some humidity or it may need stretching. But this tight scabbard will save you fifty buck off regular price. We'll deliver this very good rig by KNN to your door for $75.

Call or email if interested.

Hey Uncle Bill, It's kind of hard to tell on the WW model, is that dark wood or horn on the handle?

Welcome to the Cantina, Ted. Mail received and Nepali shipping staff packing the Sirupati.

WWII by old faithful still looking for a good home.

I've been HIKV carrier for about 2 month now.. but it was dormant, content to let me read about HIKV here... but today, it suddenly woke up, became extremely active, and there was no way of stopping it... My hands could not be stopped from writing email to Uncle Bill.

If I hadn't already ordered an AK I would snag that WWII. Oh well, So many toys, so little money.

Just got sirupati this morning (picked it up from local post office on the way to work). This is my very first HIK.. my god, I didn't realize how beautiful khukuri can be. I'm glad I got sirupati, 18in and it still light and fast, but I can see that it will still do some heavy duty work. Since my interest is in fast light blades, this is perfect. Now I can't wait to get my hands on Kumar Kobra. Scabbard is still tight, (but it's not really that bad)it is humid over here so I'll see if it will loosen up a bit in time. If not, well, then I can try to stretch it. It has a bit or rust on tip, but nothing that good fine sanding can't take care of.

Been showing my new toy to my coworkers here:D Some just shook their head and went away (not because of Khukuri, but because I had this manic grin on my face - wait till my boss shows up:D ). Blade enthusiats, though, are impressed with workmanship and certain feel this blade has..sort of feeling that let you know that you have nice extension of your own arm.

Anyway, thank you all for your posts in this forum.. (since that decided my wanting HIK), and I want to thank Uncle Bill for this great blade.
