I had a bunch of broken firebricks that i wanted to try to make a "2 brick forge" with. I roughly followed this thread in the stickies

First time i fired it up it cracked 2 bricks pretty bad. The thread said that i would get hairline cracks. Is what you see below a "hairline crack"? It works fine and all, i just wonder if it is going to get worse over time and if i will just end up with a mess on my hands?
