Just thought I'd post some knives that are almost finished. I really like the longer camp knife. This one has a 7" blade but I have one cut out with a 6 1/2" blade that feels nice too!

Both are 0-1 with micarta handles. The handles on these will be left rough for a tacky feel.

real nice. looks like you get a perfect hamon every time.

:D you have no idea how nervouse I get. EVERY TIME :D
Thanks!

Those both look great. Ideal blade shape for a camp knife IMHO. I really lie the handle design on the top knife, it looks like it would be versatile and comfortable.

I like a general, yet secure, grip like the top over a more secure, yet specific grip, handle like the bottom.

Great work as usual!!

that downward sloped but end on the top one really allows for nice chopping too :D

You really do seem to get a perfect temper line every time. That's just great skill. Very nice job Brian.

Not a huge fan of micarta but it looks pretty nice on those two babies.
Oh and love that hamon !~!~!~!~ :)

I am making a sheath for a Local knife nuts Dozier so I thought I'd take a quick photo of the group. What do you think? Time for sheaths tomorrow ;)
