Hi Guy's,
Just finished a couple of Clip point working knives.
The top one is Claro Walnut. The bottom is Australian York gum burl.
They were forged out of 1084 and have a 1500 grit finish.
The Claro walnut has a 4 & 3/4" blade.
The York gum has a 5 & 1/8" blade.
Guards are 416ss and soldered.
Copper and G10 spacers.
The Claro Walnut block has a fissure on the other side that was exposed when I formed the handle. Though the stabilizing filled it I will most likely give this one to a family member. That is the luck of the draw when using Burls.
The York gum handle came out nice.
