What do you consider the relative merits of the SOG Bowie and the traditional KA-BAR. Aside from cost which do you think is the better choice as a modern combat knife, and why? Do either have any specific advantages, or disadvantages? I understand that neither are likely to be the best compared to modern knives with modern materials, but this out of interest. Any input would be appreciated.
