2 done plus stick tang question

Hi guys i finished up these this weekend the blade is an old file with a cable gaurd and wrought iron the pommel is the stuff i found in my garden.

the cheapo pakastani sword is a rehandle for a friend of mine.
I tried explaining that its a wall hanger because of the cheap design but he tried cutting with it and bent the tang.
Is there a way to impove on the typical pakistan threaded tang or should i RE-explain the wall hanger principal??

I used a piece of whitetail deer antler for the handle ,those creatures are every where up here its not too exotic of a material, but i use found materials anyway, at least untill i beat the learning curve on this knifemaking thing.
