Hello everyone.
There are two features which I have noticed that greatly appeal to me. These may not be appropriate for all knives, but I feel many knives would be better with them. Let me know what you guys think, and maybe throw in some of your own ideas.
1) BALL BEARINGS!!! they make the motion very smooth and keep the blade from getting scratched up from opening and closing.
2) I'm not exactly sure how to describe thisw, but I'll my best: I would like to see knives that are still smooth but require more resistance to begin opening it. A few knives that I own you have to put some force into getting past the first hump to open the knife (I think the Axis Locks are like this). The reason I would like to see this is because once you get past that point, you've exhausted enough force for the blade to lock into place much more quickly than if the blade were completely loose. I feel that tactical folders could especially benefit from this feature because it insures that I will apply enough force for the blade to lock into place.
