2 forged fixed pocket knives

Just wanted to show you my latest arrivals.

1st was forged of 1.2210 by german Freddie Güttler and sambar scales were attached by german Heiko "Lanfear" Dörr.
Length ~ 12 cm (4.7"), blade ~ 6 cm (~ 2.4")

2nd was forged of 1.2210 by german Armin Drumm, oosik scales attached by Heiko Dörr.
Length ~ 13,5 cm (5.3"), blade ~ 6 cm (~ 2.4")

I like the simplicity but usefullness of these shorties! The tang can be used as a bottle opener!
I really love the Oosik knife!!! :thumbup:

When they`ve got their leather dresses they`re ready for EDC`s!

Those are cool, but very teeeny. Do you find you have enough handle to hang on to? Do show us the sheaths when they are done.

Beeing intended as real pocketknives there had to be a compromise between handle length and blade length.
The sambar knife is kind of a 2-finger knife and the oosik handled one kind of 3-finger knife. Cutting edge is enough for most of my daily tasks.
Will show them with their sheaths when done.

The tang can be used as a bottle opener!

My brother went to West Germany in the 80s. Apparently you guys can use anything as a bottle opener.
