oldie is doghead made from after 1923 since patent date is 1923. celluloid one is dated 1990. feature on oldie is locking mech. to my knowledge this only knife produced with a tit on swing guard that latched into notch on top of the unique notch of bolster. oldie is stag & i'm sure pattern was produced in alligator bone also.
