Been awhile since I posted my work in here. Thought I'd show y'all 2 knives I delivered this morning. The pics are just quick phone snaps prior to delivery. For some reason when I upload to photobucket the pics get rotated. I dunno  If someone can explain why that happens I'd appreciate it. Sorry in advance for you having to tilt your head or monitor.

Bowie, some of Aldo's 1084 with a hamon. Developing a process to get a hamon in 1084 has been challenging. 1/4" blade that's been hand rubbed to 1000x before etching. Blade is 8" long with an overall length of 14". The clip isn't fully sharpened but if you wipe it a few times with a stone it'll sharpen right up ;) Fittings are finished to 800x and blued. Handle is curly maple, 7 coats of tru-oil.

Hunter, Aldo's 1095 with a hamon. 3/16" blade, hand rubbed to 400x before etching, I like this finish for a using knife. Blade is 4" about 9" overall. Fittings are blued with stabilized maple burl handle. Fat, wet finger print at the guard... grrrrr

Thanks for looking, feel free to comment or critique. Missed all of y'all :D
