Wanted to do a chisel and zero grind for a qhile now, so i slapped together some stainless (V2A) and carbon steel (1.2842 = 0-2).

Despite the fact that it warps and bends constantly during grinding, everything worked out just fine.

Ground it almost to zero and then finished it on japanese waterstones. Took a while but the edge is scary sharp. I can easily shave armhair with any of my knives but this is the first knife I made I could actually shave my face with (with almost no blood loss too ;) ).

Though I'm thinking of putting on a secondary bevel as it's intended for everyday use. And that zero edge just seems a tad to fragile for this.

Sheath can be carried around the neck but also just put in your pocket as it is. The knife is held rocksolid in there.

Overall lenght: 11,8 cm
Blade: 5,8 cm, 4 mm 1.2842 + V2A

No idea where those tiny pores in the carbon came from. They just appeared when I was finish grinding the blade.

Looking forward to your comments.
