2 lb plumb double bit axe

I have recently acquired a double bit axe head,,an old plumb weighs exactly 2 lbs w/ no handle never seen one and cant find another? boyscout perhaps ? has only plumb marked on it anyone ever heard of it?

Two pound head? I know that school buses and emergency vehicles carried small fire axes (usually painted in red) for years but what on earth would you do with a 2 lb dbl. Puzzles me, for sure.

Yep. Surely a cruiser. Easy to find handles for those. The Link handles at True Value stores are generally mediocre but for some reason we seem to find good cruiser handles on the shelf.
