2 Little Giant Power Hammer Auction

just another example of the Government trying to help its citizens to an early grave :p

(noted the distinct lack of guards  )
bit far away for me but thanx ;)

The 100 lb appears to be the new style with a cell block. I already have one, but so far it's a great deal for someone.

Ror you powerhammer aficionados what is a god price range for a 100lb and 50lb LG's ?
(I realize wear and tear is an unknown factor for a long distance auction)

From what I can gather and what I have seen sold,$2500.00 to $3500.00 for a 50 and 4-6 grand for the 100. If they are in good shape.
To help in figureing shipping the #50 is 1600lbs and the #100 is 1800lbs.
I have bid on them and if I get them one will be for sale.(at a very reasonable price)

a 100 LG is 3300 lbs. (motor driven) or 3000 lbs. (line shaft driven). The hammer in question is motor driven, 3300 lbs.

There is a huge swing in power hammer prices, I have recently seen 100 LG's sell for as little as $1000 and as much as $5000. Seems to be location, timing, and if some one REALLY wants a particular hammer.

One thing ive learned.... as soon as you think youve missed the "great" deal, another one rears its head.

Were both patialy right, just checked the spec sheet and the #50 is 1800lbs the #100 is 3300lbs.
I do agree with Matt alot of the prices vary depending on condition and location. I would definatly pay more if they were closer to the shop and I could go look at them.My guestamations were just on what I have seen sold. For me it always seems the good deals are always a 1000 miles or more away.
