2 lost at sea

Two Gloucester fishermen were lost at sea this past weekend. I worked with the captain's brother on his lobster boat. I can't imagine what the family is going through, especially Matt's wife who lost both her husband and her father. It is the first time that someone I actually knew has been lost at sea and when it hits so close to home it is upsetting. It is a tragic loss of two excellent fishermen and professional mariners. My prayers go out to the families of the men lost.

they weren't. The bodies were recovered saturday afternoon. It is the nature of the business but very sad.

Quite sad. It seems like a tight community and hopefully the family will get all the help they need right now.
