those are two sweet knives. I really like the one with the pattern welded fittings.

Nice ones indeed. I like the one with the damascus hardware best!

Kind regards,

Jos

Thanks guys I appreciate the comments.

Karl, I hope to get a few shots at some Elk and other critters, wife and I are going to head out a few days early so we can do some scouting, but I don't see any worries about these knives from me unless they die from shutter noise. ;)

Ray, MEEEEEE TOOOOOO

The Box Elder on the top knife is amazing. I really like the blade profile and hamon on the bottom knife. Great work Bill!

Top notch.

I have noticed that as far as the PKA show is concerned, the only knives that you are taking that you have posted photos of are hunters. Is there a reason for this? Are you taking other styles of knives as well, or have you found that hunters seem to sell the best for you at that particular show?

Thanks guys,

Keith, NO this is the first time for me to do the Denver show so I have no idea of what may or may not sell. I have 5 or 6 big knives and 5 or 6 hunters. I'm also doing the SOS show in September so I've just been making a few hunters to take to both.
I also have a couple knives I would like some Mastersmiths to critique for me, so I'll have a good variety to look at on my table. Come on down.

Beautifull knives:thumbup:,i really like the temper line/hamon on your hunters,it has become in my opinion one of your trademark. On the hunter i have, the temper line is quite flat, what is different in the process to get a wavy pattern?
Wish i could make it to the show:grumpy:

Like that W2, Bill. Great looking hunters. That twisty box elder makes a great handle. Beautiful!
