Finished up a few Damascus pieces:

First, a fighter.

1084/15N20 damascus by Clint Chisan

Overall = 14.5".....9" Blade, 5.5" handle
Weight = 10 oz.

Blade is 3/16" thick, flat ground with a convex bevel - sharp!

Handle is LongLeaf Pine - yes...pine. It is hard, waxy, oily and over 100 years old, though. It's the "old wood" - rescued from an old building back when they used pine for structural columns. :eek: Has a durable satin polyurethane finish (this one's a user!), along with corian & fiber spacers.

The guard is mild steel with a hand-rubbed finished and has a thumb ramp for thrusting.

Next, another fighter, but lighter/faster

Overall = 13.5".....8" blade, 5.5" handle
Weight = 8.5 oz

Blade is Cable Damascus with a nickel & tool rod twist. Very unusual and striking pattern. - by George Rebello (Indian George)

I groud this one full convex - the thickest spot is about one-third down from the bottom. It is quite the slicer!

I added some flames (resist) near the guard to add to the "wild" nature of the blade.

The handle is purpleheart with corian & fiber spacers and has the nicest grain I've ever seen on purpleheart. Has a satin polyurethane finish. The teardrop guard and pin are copper.

Thanks for looking!

WOW those are very nice! I need to start buying lottery tickets again. I wish that I was going to Blade....

Tell me Dan, will you consider taking organs as payment? I think I could spare a kidney and a lung... Incredible knives as always, and very unique to boot.
