2 More Stages After 1500 Diamond KME

I believe I’m ready to take the sharpening process a couple/few steps further. I use KME brand system and stones and it was recommended by Brian at KME to start off on some blades that I didn’t have much invested in and become comfortable and confident in just using the diamond stones 140 to 1500 grit first. Then he said look into taking the process further.
So what would be the next best 2 or 3 stones/ceramics/strips/ etc to add in once the 1500 diamond stone stage has been completed?

I'd recommend going with lapping films in 6 micron, 3 micron, and 1 micron, which is the grit equivalent of (roughly) 3300, 6900, and 22000.

Consider getting the Spyderco Fine and Ultra Fine stones for KME

I ended up going with 3 & 6 lapping films, 2 strops, CBN 4 micron emulsion and Arkansas Translucent stone
