I have 2 Scrap Muks. A black handled one and a numbered one. Which one of these do you think I should use and which one stays at home?
Value wise which one will retain or possibly increase its value?

THIS HAS BEEN MOVED TO BUSSE COMBAT KNIVES.
THANKS "DUZZY'

I had to look the word up ( shame on me :o ) a Scrap Muk is a nessmuk inspired model from busse or busse kin.
Am I the only one who did not know that ?

I think you are the only one Hawkings ;)

I say Safequeen the numbered and use the blackie.

Or better yet, use the blackie and send me the numbered!

Or better yet use them both. You could die tomorrow and never get to enjoy your stuff. Use them both or keep one close at hand for a backup.

I'd say use them both. But that is because I would not buy a blade that I didn't intend on using. (I've been tempted a few times, but I know I would end up using them anyway)

Use them both, silly.

I don't know much at all about busse-kin knives, so that's the best help you're gonna get from a W&SS'r. :p

Use em....Or sell one and buy another tool to supplement the blade. A nice Axe maybe??

You might want to edit the original post and relate it somehow to W&SS; otherwise I think it's going to get moved.

Are you trying to find out which one would work best for woods bumming? If so:

Are they different in their blade shape?
Edge geometry?
Thickness?
Handle Shape?
Handle Material?

Or are you just trying to find out which one is worth more?

I was puzzled myself, but not enough to look it up. :)

Since I am not a busse fan boy, I could care less about their knives. Personally, none of my blades, some costing far more than a busse, are safe queens. I buy them to use them.

This has been moved to "Busse Combat Knives".
