2 N size = 1 AAA?

is that true??
den if thats the case den i can use the mini Mitylite (1AA), change i to a Mitylite (2AAA) lite bulb, i could have the Mitylite output @ half the size. same apply for mini mag and solitary mag.
 
The problem is an N cell is larger in diameter than an AAA cell, but smaller than a standard AA cell. So you usually can't get 2 N cells in a case meant for AAA. I have got 3 N cells to replace 2 AA cells for LED lights however.
