2 new 279's in box w/ papers and walnut scales

Stopped at a local sporting goods store a (real) sportings good store and they had 2 new in the box 279t Alpha Hunters with walnut scales. I love my used one with rubber scales so much I had to buy them both, on the wife's suggestion even.

 
Guy said his Buck distributor just stopped coming a few years ago, so i'll be heading back to see what else I may want.
 
I'm thinking maybe a Vantage if he has one, that seems to be a popular knife here.
