I've been working on a couple prototypes recently and wanted to share them with you all. These are both made from 5160 and have seen heavy use before these pictures were taken. I cleaned them but but had little work to do on the edge which made me happy. They were a lot of fun to forge out and even more fun to use!

The first has an 11 inch blade and is 1/4 inch thick at the thickest part. The second is 5/16ths thick at the thickest part and the blade is 12.5 inches long.

Thanks for looking!

oh yeah baby!

Those are a couple of sweet choppers! How does the p-cord feel when you use it? I've never seen it used on a knife that big.

Looking good!

Even though I like your Bowies, these are more my speed. I love good brush choppers. I lean toward the top one with its bigger belly.

I will quote myself from the first time I saw these monsters.

"*inhales breath*" Wow. Good stuff.

The paracord feels fine to me. Of course I've done a lot of punctuated chopping and haven't chopped for many minutes on end. These have come about from a request the Nicaraguan Special Forces. I will be doing a few different models and then do some cutting demos with the SF team leaders. They loved the idea of having 12' of p-cord on hand in a pinch (that's how much there is on each handle). Plus that will be a cost effective way to put a handle on these things. I'll try to give some updates as we create other models. Hope they like them!

Thanks for checking out my stuff guys!
