It's small, measuring just 3 inches. fits nice in the pocket.I'm a bit suspect on this knife. Looks like it may have been taken apart and cleaned, or the frame is from a different brand. If anyone knows Cattaragus please chime in.

It's hard to tell from a pix.. I don't think it's been apart from what I can see. Looks like a good Ole knife to me. If I remember correctly Cattaraugus didn't go out of business until 1960, your knifes scales look to be older bone than that period. I don't think the knife has been cleaned from the pix.. I can't make out the pattern number what is it?

Hi,

Very nice finds! I'm jealeous of the Camillus. I keep looking for one like my Grandfather had. But one has eluded me so far.

Love the color of the bone on the Jack. Nice and mellow.

Was watching two knives in the bay just like those;) No money to bid on them..... Glad someone here got them! Want to add Camillus and Catauragus to my slippie collection. Way to go, enjoy the high!

Hi Darrell, the pattern # is 22089. The funny thing is the Cattaragus stamp.
It is tiny a sized font. Ive never seen a stamp that small on a knife.Much smaller than the number on the other side.It feels like a good solid knife. I get leary sometimes buying on the bay.

A couple good finds there. The Catt. looks like a dandy.
Always a good day when ya get new knives :D

22089 is a 2 bladed serpentine jack with Rogers jigged bone. That looks to be what you have. Some Cattaraugus tang stamps are small. I can't date it for sure but it looks like a late 1940's knife. Nice find..

Looking a the pix again It looks like the Bone is cracked on the front side at about 1/2 way from the center pin toward the rear handle pin to the bottom bolster.. Better fill it up with thin super glue. Don't get it all over every thing.. :)

It was already glued.A bit poorly, so I added a little and fit it better, and had to file the burr off. Snappy little knife. thanks for the info Darrell.
