I just wanted to show off two new aquisitions, both from B. F. members.

One is an EDC fixed blade in ATS-34 steel from Johnathan Mitchell of Mitchell Knives, the other is a carbon fiber last-ditch hideout number from Charlie Mike.

I have dubbed this one "Slim N' Nimble", and it suits this knife well; small, thin and responsive. Johnathans attention to detail, like the hand grooved Micarta scales and polished edges on the sheath are excellent; work on this is top notch!

Here it is next to a Perrin Street Beat, which Slim has allready nudged out of EDC ;

The second knife is a carbon fiber number hand ground by Charlie Mike in the comfort and safety of his own living room;

This is only the second knife Charlie Mike has made, and I am honored to have gotten it. The sheath was hand stitched by C.M. and the whole enchilada is metal detector friendly, not that I would test that theory or encourage that kind of behavior!:rolleyes:
Both knives are well suited for their purposes, and both Gentlemen are right here on B.F. if you are interested.

Glad you like it! My father in law has some kevlar vest inserts and will be making some epoxy/kevlar sheets for my next batch. I asked him to shoot for .3" thick. Once he gets around to that, I'll be making more of em and larger too!

PS... ground both outside. That CF dust is poison! Outside with a respirator and full face shield! :D

Thank you for the positive comments!

I'm glad that you are pleased with the knife, and are actually using it. It's quite a cutter, and I'm sure it will continue to serve you well.

More? Larger? I can't wait to see what you come up with next.
Oh, you simply wave knives in the comfort and safety of you living room. My bad. Even you arn't that crazy!

Positive is the only way to describe this knife! I'm sure it will serve me well for a long time.
