I just wanted to show off two new aquisitions, both from B. F. members.
One is an EDC fixed blade in ATS-34 steel from Johnathan Mitchell of Mitchell Knives, the other is a carbon fiber last-ditch hideout number from Charlie Mike.
I have dubbed this one "Slim N' Nimble", and it suits this knife well; small, thin and responsive. Johnathans attention to detail, like the hand grooved Micarta scales and polished edges on the sheath are excellent; work on this is top notch!
Here it is next to a Perrin Street Beat, which Slim has allready nudged out of EDC ;
The second knife is a carbon fiber number hand ground by Charlie Mike in the comfort and safety of his own living room;
This is only the second knife Charlie Mike has made, and I am honored to have gotten it. The sheath was hand stitched by C.M. and the whole enchilada is metal detector friendly, not that I would test that theory or encourage that kind of behavior!
Both knives are well suited for their purposes, and both Gentlemen are right here on B.F. if you are interested.
