2 new ones from Dale

Here's a couple from our friend Dale Reif.

Modified Sifu. Reshaped handle with polished carbon fiber scales and hand rubbed finish.
Dale advises: beware--the Rekat stonewash finish hides some pretty nasty flaws.
Probably not a job he is likely to repeat any time soon.

This is my first true custom. I wanted to combine a couple features from other knives that I like:
ring indexing like my perrin's, a handle and thumb ramp that feels like my mission neck knife,
and my favorite blade pattern (recurved with sharpened false edge).
Now that's a neck knife!

Very nice, Steve. I especially like the neck knife. Great idea to have the sheath snap go throught the finger hole. No chance of losing it that way.

Forgot to ask. What steel did you use?

The steel we used is D-2. The heat treat was done by Gary Bradburn.

it's 9.5" overall with a 4" blade!
that's what i meant by "now that's a neck knife"
