I have a couple of new ones on the available page of my website. As I have stated in the past, i am apparently too much of a computer idiot to figure out how to reduce the size of pictures (and take decent ones or use the editing tools to clean up the pics and have them look like the knives do in real life...lol):D Hope you enjoy. I am actually about 40% pleased with these 2.

Thanks Kevin. I'm still having trouble getting that perfect fit between the handle and ferrule, but my rotary platen on my KMG is helping quite a bit. And I am inheriting a a Shurline micro-mill which, although it is smaller, it supposedly much more precise and less prone to tool chatter than the Harbor Freight/Wholesale Tool Chinese mini-mill that I currently have. That will make slotting guards more accurate I hope, because I have neither the space nor resources for something like a Bridgeport right now. I know that folks say that tools/machines don't make knives, but they certainly don't hinder the process if you have halfway decent ones. Doing the Thomas Edison thing and continuing to screw up in new and exciting ways and learn from your mistakes helps too, but it can be frustrating.:D

Looking good. I really like the one with the blackwood handle.

You also have the photos posted in your gallery section. At least when you click on the thumbnails there, you get to see some decent sized images.

You are correct sir:D I haven't upgraded to Leopard/IWeb 2008 yet, but I am told that it has more features. Right now I am restricted to the number of pages I have The gallery page is the only one that you can just dump a bunch of pictures on the page and they line up perfectly and have a little space for text in each individual frame and also you have the ability to see a larger version of the picture in a new window. But the hosting is only about 7.50 a month, plus the page building tools are perfect for a complete computer moron like me:p:D

Here you go, Joe - ver nice!

Thanks for the assist, my man. That third one was the first big knife I sold. It went to the UK and one of the local lads made that sheath for it.

At the risk of being laughed out of this esteemed sub-sub-forum, these two are listed in the makers sale area:D

Joe I really like the knives what are the specs
1084, Blackwood, 416 ss, blade around 7 1/8. The sheath is a Type C Randall made to fit a 7 inch Model one, but it has the Sullivans stamp.
W2, stabilized sheoak burl, cold blued 1018 or the guard and ferrule, pin is stainless, no sheath.
Both blades were totally hardened, but the tangs were clay coated so they stayed soft. The blackwood was kind of interesting because the two handles that I made from the other end of the same 2 x 2 x 18 stick turned jet black like very dark ebony after being exposed to air for a day or two, whereas this one is still deep, deep chocolate brown with very find streaks that are a hair lighter. The sheoak does not have all of that black in it. I tried to clean up and sharpen my lousy picture and it made the handle look darker than it actually is.
FYI, the walnut bowie is an old pic that was on my website. Roger just liked it so he posted it.

Joe thanks. Are the clips sharpened
No, they are not. Of the few knives thaty I have actually sold so far, the majority of them have gone to the UK so I worry about sending too many "double edged" knives over there. I'm going to try that on my next bowie, a la your favorite bowie man, Mr. B:D

Joe great work. I ll be watching for something in the 9 to 10 inch range with a sharpened clip

OK......after seeing the pic of your new carbon Bagwell, one like that was put on my list of the next 3-4 to do anyway. W2 work for you?:D

Looking good Joe, I especially like the blackwood and the big bowie that went overseas is real purty. Nice work Joe.

Thank you sir. It was my first and only attempt at a hamon. Gotta get some semi-formal instruction on that process at one of the hammer ins. a few people have commented on that one. I have a preliminary order for another one like it.

Joe...in case you are not paying attention, or need an interpreter...that means "The new knives are not that bad, but the big bowie is better. Make more like that, maintain your "value pricing", and I MIGHT be interested in promoting your rather doofus-like self".:D
