Here are two variations of the same idea. Basically I wanted to make something that felt like a stiletto but with a Japanese flavor. Bothe are 1/4in 5160 with flat chisel grinds. Both are satin finish although the scanner doesn't think so. Let me know what ya think of em :)

My thoughts exactly.

Yes but these are Stiletto's, the second one has a more "stabby" looking blade :) Stiletto's=Stabby= At least I think so anyway  :D

I had to comeback for another look!! To me, everything with that design just flows and works together. The handle shape looks full but doesn't look out of proportion to the blade. Chord wrapped handles can ofen visually overpower the blades that they're attached to!! In this case it looks just RIGHT!!

YUP.....That blade shape combined with the exposed skullcrusher and grippy chord wrapped handle.......I'd call it a winner!!

Thanks for the very kind words guys :) MAkes me think I may just have had a good idea :D

The one on the right really caught my eye. I appreciate shape of the pommels. Makes for effective stikes on hard and soft targets. Don't see too many that way anymore.
