The other day I had a package in the mail from MO (Misery). It turns out that a certain southern boy finished a couple of knives I have been wanting. If you have never gotten a knife from "The Iz" you don't know what you are missing. To start with I like the way his knives are packaged.

Bonus points if you can tell me what Iz uses to tie the paper on his knives.

If you can't read the papers, the knives I received were a Boone's Branch and a Gasconade River. The Boone's Branch is going to be my go to small knife, but I will do a separate post on my line of thinking for that little beauty.
The Gasconade River is a design Iz came up with and it feels great in the hand and is sharp as hell. I don't know if I can give up my Soldier River for this knife, but time will tell.

Here is a few pics full reviews will be on the way once I get a little woods time with them

Thanks everybody for the kind words. I appreciate it very much.
And thanks to you Ia for the cool post. You know you rock on several levels.

Just so you all know Bindlestitch(Iz) does not ask me to do reviews of his knives. I talk his knives up because the are a quality hand made product. I have beat the tar out of my Soldier River and it looks at me and says" Thank you sir may I have another". I always say yes you can.

The #11 would make one hell of a SERE knife in my opinion. I really like his overall style and website design as well. Top work!

I think that there "IA WOODSMAN" dude might know a thing or two about SERE.:D
Yeah, J, he's got those bases covered. :D
But you'd never know it unless you asked. Ia is a humble guy and a great teacher.

PayetteRucker,
