Ok i own a Ritter mini grip stonewash s30v i love it but its a little small handlewise pinky hangs off ...and another 1/2 in in blade wont kill me im a cop so not worried about tickets

thought about wilkins grip but then i saw Cuscadi scales and was like "wow"

i am torn between keeping my ritter mini and getting scales
OR
getting a full size ritter grip and also getting scales

too bad i cant try the scales and if i dont like return and then try a full size lol

I dont care about prices etc i just want to have 1 really good EDC and be done with it id rather spend the extra money on grips and have 1 knife i love than 5 EDC's im not 100% happy with

hers a pic of wilkins and Cuscadi (wilkins top and Cuscadi bottom)

i want to return my mini ritter soon if im going to so please please help me
Mini ritter with new scales? (might solve small handle problem)
OR
Full size ritter with new scales (might be too big for edc?)

FYI im not carrying this on duty just at home weekends etc wearing jeans ..i have a duty knife or 5 :)

Can't really help much with your decision, I prefer the smaller knives like the mini G. I have a couple and have already contacted Cuscadi for some new scales.
You've already got the knife , you might as well just try the new grips. If you still don't like it, sell it and try the full size. If you decide to just sell it PM me, I'd be interersted in it.

yeah my wife said the same thing my goal is to own both the reg and mini ritter with aftermarket scales so ill probably keep the mini and get the scales and worse comes to worse ill PM you :)

I think the Wilkins grips will definitely beef up the mini-Ritter. Just bought a pair from Kevin Wilkins. If you're looking for a larger ritter I know someone selling some .

I personally would return the mini and get the regular size one. The extra handle length would personally look funny imo. I'm somewhat picky about the handle to blade ratio. But whatever you do its still a great knife, so good luck to you.

i bought and returned a full size ritter its just a little too big for EDC.. im getting custom scales for my mini ritter from cuscadi

cuscadi makes scales to order in any material im leaning towards a vintage linen or carbon fiber micarta so both should be pretty grippy.... i like wilkins grips but at $140 american vs $90 american for cuscadi its a no brainer i can take the $50 i save and buy a sharpmaker :)

I know what you mean! Let me know how you like the Cuscadi. I'm thinking about getting a grip for my leafstorm. When I was talking to cascadi he told me all there carbon fiber is smooth.

if you ask for "vintage" they sandblast or beadblast and scuff it to look amazing search cuscadi with the words vintage micarta or vintage cf micarta

heres a few "vintaged"

While this is not exactly the answer to the question you asked, but...

I had the same problem with my mini-grippy, my bear-claw hands were just a tad bit too big for them. I solved this by putting a reeve-style lanyard on the end of it, which gave my pinky something to hold on to, giving a pseudo proper grip, which was actually quite comfortable.

I personally think the mini Ritter is just a hair to small, the full size carries very well with the slimmer Cuscadi grips. They were well worth the money!

yeah i considered that as well maybe when i get more money etc.. ill eventually have both... just think the full size is a little big for EDC blade wise
