i recently received 2 peanut knives whose exact identity i am not sure of.
Craftsman/USA/95236, 2 3/4", wood handles, very shallow easy open cutout.
the closest i have is a Schrade/N.Y. U.S.A., pile side: 219 but the bolsters and butt are slightly different. is this even a Schrade ?("feels" like one). pic #2: 219/Craftsman/33OT
and a Schrade/N.Y. U.S.A. with blank pile tang, 2 3/4" smooth, ivory colored delrin. this one matches my 219 exactly, but shows no evidence of pattern # being filed off, or any markings to suggest it is a "second". is this absence of a pattern # reasonably common ?
