1. Are the liners on all emersons steel or titanium? I've read that the liner lock side is titanium but I don't see that in all descriptions. The non locking side looks identical to the locking side on my emersons so I was wondering if they are both titanium

2. What model emersons are offered as flippers? Are they on washers or bearings?. How well do they flip compared to spyderco and zt?

The lock side is Titanium and the non lock side is steel. Both were Titanium prior to 2008 I believe.
Flipper models use bearings that are very smooth. The flippers offered are the CQC7 and sheepdog.

1. If you took them out, you'd notice a huge difference in how the 2 liners look as finished, and the weight is different by a lot.
2. Sheepdog and CQC7 like Steely said, on bearings, and better than most flippers I have every owned. It fricking flies out, it does have a rather weak detent. I love my sheepdog it's a fun blade.

Awesome! Thank you for the info guys.

Thats weird to do both sides in different material.

I really want to pick up the flipper versions. I may put up a hinderer up for trade for them

What year is yours? Early versions were dual Ti liners as previously pointed out.

I believe there are a few non-flipper models that have used bearings too - Iron Dragon, HMMV-K off the top of my head.

I think the switch to steel was more of a cost savings thing than anything else. I know they are fairly expensive already but I wouldn't mind paying a little more for ti on both sides.

So the liner that forms the lock is titanium. That makes sense as that is how things are advertised on the website.

I'm not sure. I'll have to look when I get home. Do they say the year made on them

On the blade, up until last year. When they made the switch to ss on nonlock side, they originally were thinner stock and fairly easy to see visually. Some time around 2013 the ss was made approximately the same thickness as the Ti. Up until then, if they were equal thickness liners, you likely had a dual Ti model (pre 2009 or so, depending on model as the changes were "rolling", likely as parts were used up).
