I've had a couple of suggestions floating around in my head for a while and finally remembered/prompted to suggest them.
1) When a Mod moves a thread it is my opinion that they should say why and who moved it. This will show reasoning, accountability and let others know that the thread has been moved or was part of another thread. It shouldn't take long and will help avoid confusion in the long run (See Colubrid's "thread" in Feedback right now). I understand why it was moved but the explanation (which is occasionally given but not always) would have been better served available to all in the beginning- out of fairness of context to the OP, and all reading and responding. I have seen in the past some questionable moves, and this way the OP can approach the Mod responsible and discuss it privately rather than call them out on the public forum to understand rules better or argue their cases.
2) It takes a long time for international memberships to be renewed. This year I renewed before the reminder and still lost membership privelages for a couple of days. Would it be hard to set the reminder for a month in advance for international supporters of BF. The membership has to be entered manually (I'm not sure how the reminders work form a technical side) so in my mind it would help to serve paying members better- especially in my case of organizing a Christmas exchange during a membership renewal.
Pipe dream: the search has an "Excluding the Terms" function to help narrow common terms.
