2 silly questions

I have a battered and bruised 8ot. It's marked schrade N.Y. usa 8ot. What vintage does that make it?
Also, in helping out my dad yesterday, I found an old schrade belt sheath brand new, with warranty papers and such still inside-I think it's for an lb7, but I don't know. Would this have any value to anybody? I was thinking of a contest or giveaway, but i have to get it out of my dad's hands first.

The 8OT was produced from 1959-2004.
The tang stamp that you described was used from 1974-2004.
So, that dates your knife as being 1974 to 2004.
8OTs rock.

LB7s on eBay are selling in the $25-$30 range, depending on the condition. Special editions are going for more, depending on the model. Sheaths alone run in the $5-7.50 range.
