Hey folks,

I've got 2 Spyderco Paramilitary's for sale. They are both come in the new style Spyderco Red/Black/Gold box. The boxes are both in perfect shape. Neither knife has ever been used, carried, or sharpened. If any of you know me you know the Para is my favorite knife and I have about a gazillion of them. I'm just getting rid of some of my stash to buy a couple more Spydies.

(Both knives were dropped on my hardwood floor from about 4 feet up and have broken tips. Other than that they are New In Box) Pics will be included shortly. It's only about 1/16" of each tip. If you're handy, you can sharpen this tip break right out. I've done it before on an older Delica.

1. Black bladed PE Paramilitary S30V (NIB) - $75 shipped.(Regrinding the tip myself or sending to Spyderco)

2. Satin bladed PE Paramilitary S30V (NIB) - $75 shipped.(SOLD to colubrid)

Paypal Preferred (and you don't need to tack on 3%)

Right now I don't have any feedback here but there are quite a few people from the Spyderco forums that could vouch for me. You'll get your knife, so don't worry about that. I always ship USPS Priority Mail.

Thanks for looking!

Hopefully this clears up the "fishyness" of the problem. I'm sorry to everyone who thought that I was jacking around. I can understand why many would be skeptical. Thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt.

I was very dissapointed to get your email that you dropped my Para and it dented the knife and broke a large portion of the tip off. I guess i will keep searching....

,,,maybe for a better blade material that won't break so easy.

Scammer alert-Buyer beware

I received the same email as yours and he took a few days to refund my money.

"Again, sorry about the busting the tip on the Para I was going to sell you. I went through my collection last night (through all the boxes) to see if I had any other Satin Paramilitary still in the box because I didn't have any more in my display case. I found one. It has the Date Code of FH on the box which means it was made in June of 2008. I forgot I even had that one. Anyway, if you want it I'll be glad to sell this one to you. It is brand new in the box and I don't have to move it and I'm not taking it out of the box period to even chance it. :-)

I can ship it tomorrow morning if needed.

If you don't want to, I understand.

Peace bro,
David"

First off you're not supposed to "Chat" in someones for sale thread (Per glockman).

He said the same thing happened to the knife I bought. Fishy?

Not fishy at all. I dropped two Para's and lucky me broke the tip on both of them. I just didn't want to advertise how unlucky I am. I also sliced my pinky toe with the black one that fell.

How am I a scammer? I refunded your money (both of you) and gave you good iTrader feedback because you paid so fast. I also offered up another Satin Para after going through my collection. If you read the Spyderco forums you know that I have a lot of Para's as they are my favorite knife.

He's been banned here before.

And I was allowed back on after consideration. I have not done anything wrong here. I've been entirely honest.

One would hope he never gets the chance to be banned again.

I know I'm on a short leash and I have paid for a Gold membership. I have no desire to take a chance to get banned again.

Funny thing is he is a mod at KnifeBST.com

And that matters how?

Lets see pics of both knives with the broken tips. That would help solve EVERYTHING for your character and you will get a full apology from me.

You posted both knifes here when you sold them so this should not be a problem for you.

That seems to be a good solution to this situation.

Call me a loser but all i want is a chance to buy the broke tip satin para. I understand cause i have bout the same kinda luck and i aint passin no judgement just GIVE ME A PRICE ON THE BROKE TIP SATIN PARA!!!!:D:D aight now yall can to continue to bicker among yourselves. Im just a spydie lover not a fighter

Please knock-off the "chatter", and take it to either email, or to "The Good, The Bad, The Ugly" forum. I DON'T want to have to hand out infractions.

Ok, folks. Deal. My wife has the digital camera with her right now (yes we only have one) and I don't want to make things seem "fishy" by using my crappy cell phone camera.

When she gets home (in an hour or two) I will take pictures of both knives together with both tips broken and I will give you macro shots an all so you know it's not been photoshopped.

Believe me, having two of my favorite knives with busted tips is not what I call fun.

Bastid, thanks for chiming in. I never thought to take pictures. You'll have them shortly. Sorry about this folks.

Okay it looks like you will have some pics here and I wanted to apologize in advance.

You have to admit it was rather fishy for two of the same type of knives being sold to two people both fell and broke the tip.

Highly unlikely but possible.

Sorry for doubting you and I hope you will accept my public apology.

Pics posted in original post to clear up broken tip issue. Let me know if you would like any other pictures of the knives. I would be more than happy to take them.

Hopefully this can be a "For Sale" thread again. ;)

Thanks.
