I finished up these 2 today and they are about to be boxed up and shipped out, throught I give them a little showing before they hit the road. Steel used on both is 52100.

I like 'em both. Love how the fixed blade has a classy look but begs to be used at the same time.

Love that fixed blade. Looks like something I'd make. Is that while micarta or the antique?

Thanks Guys, there both going to be every day users and the handle material is micarta, Ivory and Black.

Very nice duo. Love the handle on the fixed blade.

Wow! Those are really great! Was that one of yours with a similar folder pattern, but there was a "wave" of stainless steel pins going through the center? I have a pic on my computer but can't remember whose knife it is to file it correctly. Same knife, I think, but just a wave/snake of little pins running through the handle...

that was his -- blackwood handle w/ a "wave" of small pins.

Bill you said that was ivory micarta on the fixed blade. Is it paper or linen?
Scott

Scott, paper. I like the smooth feel and look of the paper, looks more natural to me.

Looks like I'll be getting some. I like the look too. :D Nice finish BTW. Do you feel it's grippy enough? Not to slick when wet? The reason I ask is I've never used paper, only linen and canvas.

I like'em....I like'em both! I want'em I want'em both!

Somebody is gonna be very happy to see those arrive.

Bill,

As usual some great looking knives! I particularly like the folder, but then I might be just a wee bit biased on that. ;)

Very Nice as always Bill. I might have to try some of that 52100 one of these days.

Again, nice looking stuff.
