I just got it and it is a nice aggresive looking thing to hold. I was glad it has the black clip instead of the shiny stainless A few questions though. Has the blade itself gone through a little change since its introduction? I compared the pictures I grabbed from the internet to mine and the top part (correct me if I'm wrong the "false edge") on top of the blade seems to be cut longer. They probably did this so the blade pierces objects easier at the tip.

Second, does the "Spyderco/Terzuola" and the dragon head on the blade wear off under normal use?

Sal, if you're out there maybe you can tell me more?

Seems like I saw somewhere that the early ones did not have the serpent head on them.It is laser engraved so it should be very hard to wear off.

no, mine hasn't worn off yet after being edc for about 5 months. it will scratch though. not bad but eh scratches can be noticable. enjoy your knife. they pierce flesh quite well. there's an inch wide scar on my thigh to attest to that. take care, be safe and stay sharp

On mine, the logo has faded considerably, but the knife gets hard use and polished by Flitz. The logo on mine is not laser-cut, but a surface application. The blade profile with the top swedge appears to vary between knives, maybe they were hand ground. Mine is not completely symetrical in the grind, but I've seen others that were perfect. The black finish on the screws and clip will wear also.
