Email sent on the lighter one. Finally a later-night special, been missing way too many. I don't believe I've bought a khuk since January    :barf:

I have one of these at 18" and 27 oz. by Sher, also with horn handle, and it is a freaking buzzsaw. What a cutter. These come nicely sharp as well. For an all around chopper that you can beat on forever these can't be topped.

Those are beauties. Horn looks so good with a matte finish. I think it performs better in the hand that way too. Maybe someone will confirm or deny this for me, but I think as I sweat on the unpolished horn it actually becomes easier to grip.

I think I've heard people say that about polished horn, too, Andy.
