I ground and ground and needed help so I hired Tom Mayo to help me grind the rest . Hand polishing S90V is like handsanding S30V so after a few months of that wore us out so we decided to do the rest in scotchbrite. The handles are shaped by hand also . It is almost a custom.
There were 500 of them made (says so on the certificate and blade, pics of both are there). It was made in 1999, as you can also see on the bladeVery nice find there! Is that anniversary one just a one off, Or was there a regular model of it? It kind of looks like the new crown is similar to it? How big is it?
Thanks for sharing, esp. the story from Ken. Congrats, really like the Anniversary knife. And you've got the box! Mine didn't come with a box, but I got the display case and paperwork. #039 here.
