2 way radio for use in USA.

Can anyone recommend a pair of 2 way radios that are suitable for outdoor leisure use. Have a budget of about $70-80.
 
bellsouth makes some decent ones. the model i have is 2250. i think they have a 2 mile line of sight range. i cant remember the price but it was less than $40 4 years ago.
 
Any of the FRS/GMRS radios will do. I assume you don't want to take the time to study for a Ham License. Many of the FRS can be found in Pairs with a rechargable battery. THe only thing to consider is if it's rechargable will you run out of batt before you can re-charge? Then go with regular alkalines.

I have Motorolla, no names, Radio shacks, used Rhino's with GPS capability. All sufice for Leisure use.
