2 week rule for re-posting in the for sale section still in effect?

I can't find the 2 week rule in the rules here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/announcement.php?f=746&a=98

I was about to report a guy who re-posted after 3 days (while my item sits stagnant on page 6 or 7 after a week), but decided I would read the "new" rules first, and it looks like there is no limit on relisting at all. That can't be right.

Before I relist my item, is the 2 week rule still in effect?

2 week rule is in effect. When in doubt, report.

SECTION 3 - Rules for Sellers / Traders / Service Providers (hereafter referred to as "Sellers"):
1. Rules for everyone:

16. REPOSTING / RELISTING: You must wait two (2) weeks (14 days) to relist items for sale after the first time they have been listed. Don't try to circumvent this, your sale will be deleted, and your account will be locked.

This kind of looks like you are showing me something I missed. I "saved" the rules as they appeared yesterday and the rules stopped at 15, the "Consolidate your sales listings" rule.

The rules listed now appear to have been posted on 5/23 and show no record of the addition of rule 16 to the "Rules for everyone" section. They should be titled "Rules for the Exchange forums - Updated 6/8/2011". Anyone who read and understood the rules after 5/23, but before today, shouldn't be expected to re-read them since they show no sign of being changed.

I hope nobody has their account locked after 5/23 for relisting before 2 weeks (or 2 hours for that matter) had passed, when no such rule could be found in the "Rules for the Exchange forums - Updated 5/23/2011" until yesterday.

I don'r know of any such thing. Personally, I have simply been merging reposts and explaining the rule.

Speaking of this is there a rule against moving a couple from one for sale thread to another? I had a couple customs mixed in with some productions for sale on a productions knives thread to save some time, and after a few days deleted them and moved them to their own custom for sale thread. Is that ok? If not im sorry and will move them back to the original.

Actually, that was the right thing to do. Posting customs in a production thread could lose you a good sale, since people interested in customs might not see them in the production forum.

Thanks. To be honest when I read this thread I was worried it was talking about my threads since i did the move last night. Thanks for letting me know im in the clear it ease my mind

Spark just cleaned up the temporary rules format we had, while we were testing the no-bump Exchange. The 2-week rule may have gotten lost in the shuffle and restored after you reminded us of it.
