Two (2) (yes, two) whole weeks of vacation. After today, I don't go back to work until January 3rd :D :D :D And on top of that, my wife is off as well :D :D :D

Excellent! but now you need to call in sick for this weekend of the 27th - 31st...should we see you in Vegas at the

also that same weekend at the same place

and...!!

My wife and I always stay at the Luxor so I made reservations for a deluxe room in the Pyramid with a strip view for Thu $89 Fri $139 Sat $139 and Sun $89 using the code TLVM05 which is for the marathon...if you use the LVCKS code of TMANT the room rates are $139 for Thu, $160 for Fri, $169 for Sat and $139 for Sun so TLVMO5 is the way to go!

I'm off 27th-31st, but I don't know if I'm gonna make it to Vegas. I'm actually trying to save money right now; somehow I don't think a trip to Vegas would help, LOL.

have fun and forget about us.....we'll still be here. ;)

Anyone else going away for the holidays?

We are leaving tomorrow for our place up on the Olympic Peninsula. I hear Bigfoot has been around again recently. I plan to introduce myself. It's always good to know your neighbors.

Bigfoot might be OK. I'm not sure if my friends are ready for Ben.

I'd like to set and smoke with Sasquatch, as long as I can be up wind. :p :D ;)

Enjoy Josh. Barb and me are heading for Phoenix a little later, after the danger of snow is over.
Will be too early for the pool and swimming but not for Ming's for wonderful homemade Chinese, the great Mexican food place, or the bar and grill where we always go on Wednesday evenings for hot wings and beer.:D  :D

Yvsa, how far is Phoenix from your OK home?

About 1,100 miles or 20 hours. About the same as it is too Warren Pennsylvania. Now my son and his family have moved to near Ashvill NC in Tennesee, about straight down from Warren. No more 7 hour drives too their place.:(

Where about? Ben, I've friends in that area.
We are in Ocean Shores, Gray's Harbor County, a little west of Hoquiam, on the coast. Hoquiam was Curt Cobain's hometown and the birthplace of the "Grunge".

When Cobain went to Seattle, the city dwellers liked his "style" and adopted it as the "Grunge Look". They didn't realize that it's the way everyone over here dresses because it's the poorest and most economically depressed place in the state.

Given that, and the fact that it rains every day, should keep most of the tourists away.

i get the 27 and 28th off along with a punch to the head and body.

would have loved to have 2 weeks off.

I got the hammer blow to the skull. It all went black. I woke up here again, and Ed told me what to do.

munk, are you sure this Ed fellow knows what he's talking about? Is he trustworthy? I just hope you aren't being swayed by some svengali or manipulated by a mad monk like Rasputin.

I am this Century's mad monk. But Ed, yes, has known me since childhood. The black hearted son of bit-- knows my inner most fears. Besides, he owes me ten bucks.
