Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen,

I would like to present you with 2 David Winston Folders, Neither is owned by me, rather they are gotten from his site. I am posting them in here tonight to see what comments can be offered and perhaps help me make my decision on which style to have made. Thanks for your help!!

And the other. Which ever one I get, it will most likely be requested as an auto with bolster release, and even the first one pictured would be changed to Damascus as well. Not sure if this belongs in here, but I figured since the thread was based upon pictures of knives, it would be OK.:)

TheBadGuy - First (in case you didn't see my thread) I want to thank you for steering me in David Winston's direction with the Whitetail Stag Hunter. Now to the chore at hand - I like both folders but if my budget was tight, I'd go for the 1st one with the 'fluted' handle. Would look really good with a Damascus blade! I prefer the blade shape of the 1st over the second (Wharncliffe). Then again I don't own a Wharncliffe style blade so why not go with that one? Decisions, decisions, decisions!:D Good luck with your ultimate decision.

Not the best anngle for getting a good look at the knives, but I myself prefer the first one. I love the lines and find the fluted handle very appealing.

I would most likely agree with you Keith. The fixed blade I got from Mr.Winston has a fluted handle and its mind boogling the work and attention to detail required for such a thing. But then again, I don't have anything with bone like the sceond one. I think I will just leave it up to Mr.Winston, give him a price point I can afford and supprise me:)

Pretty tough to go wrong there.., both great knives! If it was me choosing.., and it was an auto.., I'd get the first profile. I loove Wharnies.., but it doesn't work for me in an auto modality (just me??)...
