Hey Guys….

Well this is a few days overdue.. I’ve been kinda feeling crappy the last couple of daze.. Got some type of bug, so hang in there with me…

On October 29th 1999, 2 years ago On/Scene Tactical was born…

Never in a million years would I have expected what I started 2 years ago as a hobby and an interest in building a better sheath for myself turn into this..

It’s been an incredible ride, and I’ve had the fortune of working with, some of the Absolute best blades found Anywhere on this planet…

Not only have I worked with the best knives in the world,, I’ve also worked with the best people in the world! You guys have given that opportunity to me and have allowed me to work with your prized possessions…

I Very much appreciate that.

There are many people who have helped me along this path that I’d like to specifically Thank…I apologize in advance for anyone I’m about to forget.:)

Probably one of the first people would be Rob Simonich who really helped me hammer out the basics…

Ron and Karen Hood for their continued support and encouragement…
Gail and Tim who run in the background and keep me smiling..:)

One person who sometimes gets forgotten about is Mr. Murray Hadey from Proedgeknives who allowed me to cut my teeth on Fallknivens and Chris Reeve knives, and putting up with my earlier work..:) Murray was my first dealer and continues to not only be a customer but a friend….Thanks Bud..

Others I owe my gratitude to :

Jerry Busse of Busse Combat
Mike Kyle M&M Tactical
Jeff Cheatham Confederate Cutlery
Andrew Pinchen Busse Combat (for all of our clandestine meetings)
Andre DuMouchel
Phil @ 2 The Hilt
Tom Marshman Marshman Brothers
Dennis Wright Wright Knife
Mike Sastre who I have a great respect for, :)
Louis The Martial Way
Robert @ Survival Sheaths

The knife makers I work with on a regular basis

Rick Frigault
Eric Elson
Jeff Diotte
RW Clark
Len Perry
Brian Tighe
Jim Downie
Jerry Busse

And also the Countless other knife makers I’ve done work for over the last two years…

Last but not least Spark and Mike Turber(wherever he is) for allowing me to be here ,for whom this wouldn’t be possible….

I’m very Grateful for your continued support, both with my family life and my sheaths…

To my many new and repeat customers…Thanks you guys for making this a wild ride and keeping me in debt buying new knives… :) (Well over 175 in the last 2 years)

Knife Knutts,, The Best,, most friendly people in the world.. Many, many people I have met here in these forums I now call friends…

One last person that I almost forgot,,and I'd better mention,,or Ohh Boy am I up $hits Creek!!,,, is my Wife Nancy, who has put up with my BS, late nights, and still allows me to be her husband..:) Without her,, None of this would be possible,,At All!! Thanks Babe..:)

Thanks Guys…….

Hey Eric,

As soon as I get squared around, I gotta couple ideas floating around in the space between my ears. I wouldn't think of calling anyone but you to bring them into reality.:)

Paul

I recently became another of Eric's satisfied customers.

The On/Scene Tactical kydex sheath he sent me for my Polkowski/Kasper Companion transformed it from a great knife with a mediocre sheath to a superb daily carry package.

The knife carries comfortably, draws smoothly, and is retained securely. Eric even sent it set up for a right-handed reverse grip draw, which was precisely how I wanted it.

Fit and finish of the sheath are absolutely superb, and Eric's built-in carry options would allow me any number of different carry positions if I felt like changing the arrangement.

Normark has my Unqualified Razorian Endorsement.

Well, thank-you Eric!

Eric is a greta guy to talk to. I have chatted with him on chat and through e-mail. Whatever you want to ask, he's there with a response. I lent him a video once and he returned the video with a gold pendant he made for my girlfriend. And if that doesn't tell you how generous and giving he is, do a search for his posts. If I wanted to make my own sheath, Eric would be the first to tell me how to do it and help me track down the parts I needed to do it. Eric has put back at least as much as he has taken out. Thanks, eh!

Great products, great service... Normark's sheaths are absolutely top notch. Congratulations on your second anniversary!

I must also chime in. Eric was nothing but helpful to me, as a newbie getting my first custom sheath for a CS Recon Tanto. He offered it to me at a reduced price just to convince me that it would be worth it. And I am convinced. He's a great guy and an great craftsman. Congratulations Eric.

Eric,
How about we thank you for putting out an exceptional product! You're just a great guy to work with.

I can't wait until I get my 4 Busse Basic sheaths!

Glad to see you mention Ron Clark in that list of maker's. I just received a 5" Camp Bowie that is just screaming for one of your carbon fiber Concealex jobs

Don't sell yourself short, it is certainly our priveledge to have great craftsman like yourself at our disposal.

Eric,

You are the one that deserves to be thanked. For your outstanding sheaths and more importantly your OUTSTANDING character! As far as I'm concerned, Eric's sheath work is outclassed only by his great personality. Thank you, Eric. And congratulations on your success, you deserve it. By the way, look for the review I posted of my new sheath in the Reviews section. GREAT JOB.

I'm glad that you were able to realize this business, and wish you the best of luck in the future! Thanks, Eric!

Professor.

Hey Eric, Congrats on the 2nd anniversary & wishing you many more years of ongoing success. I appreciate your products for their very high production quality, simply the best. Just like their maker.

Question for ya: How come all my favorite carry rigs somehow include one of your sheaths??? :D :D

Keep up the GREAT work,
Greg

Hey Guys...

First off let me apologize for not getting to this thread sooner...

When I started the thread I was feeling a little under the weather..I was then hit with a real nasty sinus infection which quickly moved into my chest...Spent the better part of the week in bed as standing upright made my head feel like it was literally going to Explode..A couple of days on some good drugs and I'm back in the saddle...

Let me say that I Very much appreciate everyones kind words and the trust you have given me to work with your knives...

I started on these forums with a love of knives, but a limited exposure to them.

I've now worked with some of the finest blades known to man and I firmly believe that No one knows knives like you guys know knives...

Thanks for keeping me on my toes, helping me make the Highest Quality sheaths I can.

Thanks Again...

Thanks Eric! It has been good to see your work take off like it has. All the praise you get is well deserved!
