At first I had trouble trying to figure this pouch out. How was I going to best use it?? What would go in it? I finally figured this would be my dedicated PSK/Possibles Pouch that I could transfer from pack to pack. I spent a lot of time narrowing down my gear selection so I had just what I needed.

The pouch itself is well made with quality materials. I love the fact that the large elastic band wraps around the outside of the kit to keep it closed. The size of the pouch is perfect for BDU pockets. The possibilities of load out are endless. Medical, survival, tools, etc.

Here is my kit.

I am digging this pouch and I am thinking of getting another in a different color for med supplies. Check out the 20$ Bandit website for more color options.

You made allot of good decisions on your load-out!! Love that ESEE knife, compass and light! Great kit Brother!

I think you did a good job getting all your bases covered for edc with the content of the kit, but on a first look, I'm not sold on the pouch.

Concept is good, but the execution is not there for me.
What doesn't work IMHO:
1. The bungee strap that keeps it closed - in my experience with other products it gets loose after a while, especially when stretched over bulky pouch. Especially if I keep it in my car, where the temperature reaches 100 degrees easily during the summer.
I'd rather have zipper all around...don't want my stuff get loose and out of the pouch.
2. Not fond of the square shape. I'd rather have one side narrower or wider. Maybe it's just me, but rectangular shape seems to be more efficient for storage (sliding it in and out of a cargo pocket, glove compartment, etc).

...I think I'am picturing fatty organizer from maxpedition :D

When the elastic finally does give out, some shock cord looped thru that D-ring will keep it working well for you, with or without a cord-lock. Replace as needed. With appropriate needle & thread and/or cord/webbing, you can make that do whatever you'd like.

That's a good setup you have. I have similar setups for belt carry.

Tek77: Dude zippers suck, do you not know this yet, wait until one fails on you and you have to cut your pouch open rendering it useless. Not to mention try opening a zippered pouch when you are under stress, or when you have on gloves, yeah it sucks! The bungee I used on this pouch will last 10 years IF the pouch is used every day and you know what when it does fail Panzertroop can send it back to me and I will send him another, for free. The comment about the shape, well I disagree completely, a square provides the most space for the size, when I was designing the pouch (2 year process) I tried a rectangle, didn't work in the pocket, could not get all the items I wanted in the pouch, so to each his own.

Dude I want to change your mind so please email me (20dollarbandit@gmail.com)your address and I will send you one. You are going to love it, trust me, so many uses.

If not, (really hope you take me up) then you can stick with your Maxpedition pouches, I have a ton of them, and they do not do the job my MK-7 does, trust me I tried to be lazy and just buy one before I went through all of the trouble to design, manufacturer and market my own;)

I'm out
