$20 Flea market score

Just picked up this old school beauty this morning while browsing at the local flea market. Brought it home and started cleaning it up. 1/4 inch thick and it even has a hole in it! Solid brass pins and rosewood handle. After I sanded the handle and oiled it I thought my little project may be post worthy. When I'm done I will post pics of the finished product.

Once I locate my grinder and buff wheel Im going to go to town on that blade untill it shines like new.

What a chopper she will be and I wont have to worry about abusing it.

Didnt think about modding it till you mentioned it. Hmmm.

Yeah i figure any old school piece of quarter inch thick high carbon is worth 20 bucks. Damn thing weighs a ton.
