Here's a 10/10 20 inch AK by Kesar. Good karda and chakma. Scabbard has small patched spot on back. Front is good. 100 year HI superfrog.

We will take 50 bucks off regular for the imperfect scabbard and deliver this rig to your door for $145.

It's a good deal. Call or email if interested.

If you think that handle is huge, you should see my new Durba:D:p hehe hehe hehe

I received the 20in Ang Khola a couple days ago. The size is impressive! Much bigger than any of my other khukuris:

here's the imperfection Uncle mentioned:

not very bad, hard to see even. It seems to have been filled in with wax or something??

The only noticeable flaw in the kukri itself is the fact that the tang shows through the top (spine-side) of the brass bolster a little bit.

I can't wait to try *this one* out. Got some wood to chop and some brush to clear. This one should do the trick :).

Thanks for the great deal Uncle! :D

cheers again, B.

Congrats on a fine catch, B! Yes, Uncle's quality control is the most strict imaginable! The Handle is well figured. It would greatly benefit from Walosi's gunstock finishing technique (HI Khukuri FAQ on the HI site). I have a BGRS that had a handle that started out looking good like your AKs, but it is spectacular now!

Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents worth at Ya'. BTW is that Buff hide you're using as a background in your pix?

Thanks for report from the field.

I think what you're seeing on the bolster is the solder joint rather than the tang.

Thanks again Uncle! :)

Is there something I can do about the solder-joint on the bolster?

It isn't very noticeable and I can't imagine it has any practical effect on the kukri.

Thanks Craig. I might try Walosi's finishing technique sometime if I've a chance. (Have you any photos of your refinished BGRS??)

Yes, it is buffalo hide. It's actually the top of a big NDN drum belonging to my brother. Unfortunately there's a crack in it (the hide-top), but it still makes noise ;). In some of my pictures the top is actually too small and/or the crack would be showing, except in the both cases I've performed a little Photoshop magic! ;)

cheers all, B.

There's not much you can do about the solder joint and you're right. It has no practical effect other than holding the bolster together.
