I'm having trouble desiding which I should get for some friends (married couple). They are both do a lot of Hiking/camping and a little martial arts.

So, I guess the question is, Do you think I should get them the Chiruwa style AK or go with the 20" Sirupati?

Thanks in advance,

Martial arts would lean toward the Sirupati.

Thanks Uncle, That's one for the Sirupati. Any body else want to put in there two cents worth?

I think the AK will be an all around better knife. If they do a "little" martial art's and alot of hiking/camping I would go with the AK!

Thank you Uncle Bill and Chris for the input. I think I'll hold off and get an M-43 instead if Uncle lets me. :) I think I can wait a few weeks before desiding which Khuk to get my friends.

Depends on what's more important. Cutting wood or wasting creeps. Maybe the WW2 might be a good comprimise.

A khuk as a tool will probably get used more than a khuk used for a weapon. Depending on where you live :D

AK and Sirupati I think AK but I still think the WW2 to be a better choice.

Bruise, thanks for the good input. Looks like I'm getting one of those sweet M-43's instead. :D:D:D

I origanally had a Chiruwa style WWII that I was going to give my friends. But the Bolster failed on testing so I returned it. Yuo know, I never thought of getting them a standard WWII. That might be a good idea. Thanks. :)

Edit --- Kmark got it instead. :)
