The past 20 years have been a gift to me thanks to good docs and the wonderful world of chemistry and nuclear science.

On this day in '86, was found to have Hodgkins. Was wild seeing a solid white mass on the x-ray of my chest, esp after having a clear one 7 months before...

Thanks to the docs (and 6 months of chemo :barf: :barf: and 3 of radiation :barf: ), I've been able to enjoy more time with my wife, our families, got into the world of Busse, met some great Hogs (and Rats), made some good friends, and found Fogo...LOL

Thanks to all you Hogs (and Rats) for makin it a great ride so far, and I look forward to many more years of tormenting all of you...

I hope you have many more, congrats!

Congratulations to you AND your loved ones! I've found stickin' around longer than the Docs give only makes it more interesting.:p Here's to Hopes of many more healthy years for ya!

God has a plan and you are still needed with us here. Here's to many more years for you to come.

That's fantastic, Mike! It's always good to hear good news - remind us in another 20

Congratulations, Mike.

On that note, I think I'll plug a charity here. For the past 18 months, I was growing my hair for a group called Locks of Love http://www.locksoflove.org/ for donation to make a wig for patients who lose their hair due to medical treatments or disease. They harvested it last weekend. It feels weird to be back to normal.
Details can be found on their website.

Here are a couple before/after pictures:

Worthy reason to grow such a mane Rick.

Mike, I am not going to even touch an obvious joke that can be made here about wigs, hair loss, you and chemo. Just remember, I didn't make the joke. :)

Man, I made some great jokes back then. I look at it a bit lighter than a lot of folks, still do.

Rick, my wife has done that twice, my brother once, and several friends as well had been shorn for the cause.

It is a great cause... Thanks for what you did man.

That cancer didn't stand a chance. You Busse guys have a constitution tougher than INFI steel.

Here's to many, many, more continued years of health, happiness, and INFI, Mike!

Mike, I had no idea, that is remarkable! Here is a prayer that you have many many more years of good health. Your bud and FOGO partner, porkybear....

Outstanding story of survival! (You sure you're not a Rat? ;))

I'm glad that you decided to stick around, Mike -- this place just wouldn't be the same without ya.
