Hello,
I am looking for a pocket knife for about $200 dollars or less and maybe $50 dollars over $200 bucks. I ordered a benchmade mini onslaught limited edition from BladeHQ but I screwed something up with my credit card info but it went threw, next day they said order canceled and they sold my knife. :( And im not sure if they will ever come back in stock and everywhere there out of stock. So I am asking you guys for some suggestions on a pocket knife since im not really sure what to buy now. I am looking for a knife thats under 7oz and has a blade length from 3-4 inches. If you have any suggestions on a knife for me please commet below it would be greatly appreciated

I love my Benchmade osborne and have it with me every day. I know they stopped making them but you can still find them on places like ebay. If not i have been very happy with some of the newer spyderco knives as well, hope this helps.

There have been one or two on the classified rather recently, nearly NIB. If you're a collector, I guess you want NIB. But I always buy used. If you want a particular knife, I'm pretty sure you could find one within a week. Don't give up if that's the knife you want. And also post in the "Wanted to Buy: Knives" section. If you buy something else, you'll never have the one you want.

spyderco ti military or brown in ctsa xhp I have owned both and I still have the cts....it's a horse....you could go bm 710 spyderco gayle bradley..or if you want to add zero tolerance to and about another 1oz or so the 0300 series are bomb proof as well, would help to know if you wanted a slicer or a beat em up type, i have also owned the full size onslaught I bought it for 150...I really miss it.

they still make the 940 which is the only knife called the benchmade osborne as far as i know. Are you talking about one of the other osborne designs?

As for a knife recommendation, 1st, if you want the mini onslaught i'm sure you can find it. might just take some looking. if you're interested in a similar design (at least to me) check out the BM 860 bedlam. I think it's a very handsome knife. I also second the ZT and gayle bradley suggestions, they're similar knives in size and durability. I've heard the Gale bradley is a hell of a value too.

Another one I would suggest is the ZT 0550. Next on my list.

I'm loving my Subrosa and my gayle bradley I really can't decide which one I like more at this point, the subrosa is lighter, assisted(not for everyone but I like it), and stainless, the GB is smooooth, very nice to look at, the construction is very impressive, and the steel is tough but not stainless. Both of them lock up tight no play in either of them, I would be hard pressed to chose one over the other, since I carry both I don't have to, I think you would be happy with either one depending on what it is your looking for exactly.

Don't have it yet, but if I was lookin for a knife for around $200 it would definitly be the ZT 0551. ZT 0550 if I couldn't find the 0551.

+ 1 on the ZT 0550 (from kershawguy, $200 shipped ) or 0551 and/or ZT 0560/0561 (again from kershawguy) for an additional $60

Good luck with the search dude! :)

Referring to the 960, maybe? You can still get the HD version pretty easily. And there are a few more Benchmade Osbornes.

I'd second the ZT 0550/Spyderco Gayle Bradley suggestion. Those two knives are great.

Ya know i have not been keeping up with benchmade for some time and i just went and looked. You are very right they do have the 940 back, I could have sworn that they quit making it even if for only a little while? O well now i know better ;)

I am partial to Kershaw assisted openers, and they are well within your price range. Tons of models to choose from.

You can save money for a little longer and go for a Chris Reeve Sebenza. If you look hard enough you can find one for around 320-340, perhaps on this very forum.

I "loaned" my Subrosa to my son in law and he won't let me have it back.

A really nice knife.
