2000 grit tape

My Google Fu has failed. I am trying to find 1000-2000 grit sharpening tape to get those mirror edges but I can't find jack

Any help is appreciated

I'm sure someone will have a better answer for you, but I use 2000 grit sand paper from the auto section at WalMart and double sided tape.

wtf? I can't find anything over 400grit at Walmart. What part of the auto section is it in? I must be over looking it.

In the Auto section check in the area that has Bondo and touch up paint. Failing that go to any auto parts store (Auto Zone, Advanced, O'Reilly's etc).

I got 2k grit sandpaper at Kragen a number of years ago. It was a few bucks for 5 sheets.

2000 git sand paper and spray adhesive might work for you too.
